Rules And Regulation
- The main activity of the ashram is to train and provide guidance in the practice of PATANJALI'S eight-fold paths. This includes physical, mental and spiritual training.
- The admission to the courses is open to all without any discrimination of caste, creed or nationality. Children below 12 years are not permitted to stay in the Ashram.
- The rules of the Ashram require every aspirant to participate in all activities connected with the practice of Yoga and Meditation.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, meat, onion, garlic or any kind of INTOXICANTS will not be permitted.
- The aspirant is expected to keep his/her accommodation in a neat and clean condition. The management has the right to enter and check the rooms at any time.
- The aspirant is expected to devote his/her spare time to study, practice japa, observe silence, and/or meditate.
- Meals are served only in the Dining Hall. Sadhaks are not allowed to take food from the Dining Hall.
- The Aspirants must be adequately dressed during their stay.
- All trainees should be in class at least five minutes before the scheduled time for the commencements of the meditation. Late-comers will not be permitted to attend the class.
- During meditation any action or movement by a meditator (trainee) causing noise or disturbance to others should be strictly avoided.
- New entrants should consult the teacher for guidance in meditation and read the MANUAL, offered free of charge at the time of check-in.
- All aspirants -except the old and physically incapable- are expected to attend the Yoga asana classes regularly
- All aspirants are expected to observe the Rules and Regulations of the Ashram, which may be changed from time to time.
- During your stay at the Ashram, should you encounter any difficulties or problems, please contact the MANAGER in the office.
- All aspirants are expected to help clean the Meditation and Yoga Halls weekly, every Sunday during Karma Yoga from 6:00 to 8:00 AM
- The Ashram’s Management has the right to ask any aspirant to vacate the accommodation if found disobedient/undisciplined and not observing the rules.
- Aspirant shall not have any claims for loss, damage, theft or destruction of his/her property or articles left in rooms occupied by him/her.
- All residents of the Ashram, Sadhaks, employees- both permanent or temporary - guests, and/or visitors enjoying accommodation in the Ashram cannnot claim any tenancy’s rights or any other type of title or claim, whatsoever. No guests are allowed at night. Visitors’ timings are fixed: please observe them.
- All residents must be back in their Ashram room by 10:00 PM, before the gates closes for the night.
- Residents will be held responsible for any damage caused to the property ofthe trust under their use and would reimburse the Ashram of any loss and/or damage.
- Please use the suggestion/complaint book of the Ashram, located at the office.
- No one is allowed to visit anyone’s room during day/night times.
- Please do not bring blanket/pillow/sheets from your room to the Yoga/Meditation Hall. Room’s articles must not be removed from the room.
- Please turn off your room’s lights, fan & water taps when leaving your room.
- Residents should use their own lock to lock room’s doors.
- When checking out, please take your clearance slip from the library and the kitchen timely, and submit them in the office to obtain a GATE PASS. Exit without gate pass is NOT allowed.
- Rights of admission are fully protected & reserved.
